Koine Platform

The shared web workspace for planning across rooms and people, maintaining organization resources, reviewing recordings and managing access and usage.

Web app · Updated 28 August 2026

What Platform does

Open platform.getkoine.com in any modern desktop browser. Changes made here and in the installed apps apply to the same events—you do not maintain two calendars.

Use Platform forPlanner, rooms, presets, speakers, people, operator devices, recordings, transcripts, organization policy, usage and billing.
Use Booth forAudio selection and testing, screen output, BibleSense approval, live monitoring and Go live.

Platform deliberately cannot start or operate live translation.

  1. Open Koine Platform.
  2. Continue with Google or use your email address and password.
  3. Use Forgot password? to request a reset link.
  4. If your organization configured work or school SSO, open More options and choose the SSO option.

If you received a team invitation, open the invitation first. It identifies the organization, role and invited email before you create an account or sign in.

Plan events across the organization

Open Planner for the organization-wide calendar.

  • Agenda groups upcoming and past events.
  • Week shows the shared weekly calendar.
  • Schedule organizes one day by room, assigned person or channel.
  • Operations shows rooms, assignments, paired Booth computers, readiness, listener counts and available capacity.

Filters narrow the calendar by campus, room, assigned person, channel, status or My events. Select an event and choose Prepare to edit Event details, Languages, and Hours & recording. You can also preview the listener experience, duplicate an event, and use supported ICS import, export or subscriptions.

Organizations, people, rooms and devices

OrganizationThe shared workspace, payer, policy boundary and public identity.
PersonAn individual account with a role and event-access scope. Their flexible devices follow that access.
Room or locationA reusable physical place with equipment notes, capacity, a default preset, permanent listener QR and optional screen settings.
Fixed installationA shared Booth computer paired to one room. It is a device principal, not a person's account.
EventOne actual translation occurrence, scheduled or started for now.

The location label adapts to the organization and may appear as Rooms, Meeting points, Rooms & stages, Classrooms or Locations.

Manage rooms and operator devices

Open Organization settings → Rooms, or the equivalent location label, to create or archive rooms, store equipment notes, maintain a permanent listener QR, choose a default preset and pair a shared Booth computer.

Open Operator devices to distinguish personal and flexible devices from fixed installations. Listener phones do not appear here because they join temporarily through a public link.

People and permissions

Open People to invite members and manage access. Koine shows the invitation content before it is sent.

  • Owner: controls administrators, purchases, plans and all shared settings.
  • Admin: manages planning, rooms, devices, recordings, people, usage and policy.
  • Host, guide or instructor: runs assigned events without organization administration.
  • Paired room console: accesses only its paired room.

Non-admin members can receive all-event access, only their own and assigned events, or one selected room. Administrators see the entire organization.

Recordings and transcripts

Completed events appear in Recordings when organization consent and the event's recording policy allow it. Owners and administrators can play available tracks, rename the archive, correct transcript segments, export TXT or SRT, restore the original transcript or delete the archive.

Transcript corrections affect replay and future exports; they do not change the audio.

Billing and usage

Billing & usage shows the plan, remaining language-hours, prepaid balance, limits and monthly utilization. Usage can be inspected by event, room, operator, program, device, language, provider or product.

Only the owner can purchase prepaid hours or manage the Stripe plan and invoices. Included plan hours reset monthly; purchased organization hours roll over and are used after plan hours.

Move from planning to operation

Open the same event in Koine Booth. A personally signed-in operator sees events they created or were assigned; a paired Booth computer sees events for its room. Shared rooms, presets and speakers can be selected in Booth but are maintained in Platform.

Administrators can choose Organization settings → Open in browser from Booth to return to this workspace.
